The Inspire & Connect Women’s Network, a new initiative aimed at fostering collaboration, personal growth, and professional development among women in the community, held its first successful meeting on Monday night at the Clarke Foley Community Hub.
The event, organized by Anna Clewlow of True Engagement, in partnership and support of Clarke Foley where Anna is the marketing lead, brought together a diverse group of women, from local business owners and professionals to community leaders, all eager to connect, share experiences, and support one another in their personal and professional journeys.
Anna expressed her enthusiasm for the new initiative:
"Inspire & Connect is more than just a network; it's a movement. Our goal is to create a supportive space where women can come together, share their stories, and build each other up. Last night's meeting was just the beginning, and I'm thrilled to see where this journey will take us."
The meeting featured a dynamic evening of networking, discussions, and workshops, all designed to empower women to take bold steps in their careers and personal lives.
The feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, one participant said:
"It was refreshing to be in a room full of women who are not only driven but also genuinely interested in supporting one another. I left the meeting feeling inspired and motivated."
The next meeting of the Inspire & Connect Women’s Network is already in the works for the 23rd September 2024, with plans to expand the range of topics and activities offered. For more information please contact Anna at anna@trueengagement.co.uk
