Ilkley Philharmonic Orchestra present their summer concert in the beautiful setting of All Saints’ Parish Church, Ilkley, with its wonderful acoustic - just perfect for classical music, on Sunday 8th June from 3.30pm.
This is the third in the third concert in the IPO Candlelight Concert series, the orchestra's conductor John Anderson said:
"Our orchestra’s outstanding principal flautist, Tracey Smurthwaite, will be performing Mozart’s delightful Flute Concerto in D. Schumann’s rarely heard Overture, Scherzo and Finale opens the programme and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2 in D will bring the concert to a rousing conclusion."
"We are proud of the excellent reviews the orchestra has received and the Candlelight Concert series should be a delight for first-time and seasoned concert goers alike. We look forward to welcoming you."
