There will be changes to bus services in the Ilkley area over the Easter weekend.
These changes included the start of summer season DalesBus services into the Yorkshire Dales National Park on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays.
On Good Friday 3rd April local buses will run a Saturday service, except DalesBus 74 to Grassington will not run.
On Easter Saturday 4th April a normal Saturday bus service will run, including DalesBus 74 to Bolton Abbey, Burnsall and Grassington. This leaves Ilkley at 10.20am, 12.30pm and 3.50pm; returning from Grassington at 11.30am, 2.50pm and 5pm.
On Easter Sunday 5th April and Bank Holiday Monday 6th April buses will run a Sunday service. Double-decker DalesBus services 875 and 876 to Grassington, Upper Wharfedale, Aysgarth and Hawes will restart for the summer, leaving Ilkley Bus Station at 10.20am and 11.15am every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday. They will return from Wensleydale Creamery in Hawes at 2.25pm and 4.25pm, and from Grassington National Park Centre at 4pm and 6pm.
Cravenlink Sunday and Bank Holiday buses 864 and 873 between Ilkley and Skipton will continue largely unchanged for the summer, but the 5.35pm bus from Skipton will run via Embsay and Bolton Abbey providing a later journey back to Ilkley from Bolton Abbey at 6pm.
There will be minor changes to the times of DalesBus 874 up Wharfedale for the summer, with buses leaving Ilkley at 10.20am and 2.20pm on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays, returning from Buckden at 12.35pm and 4.25pm and Grassington at 1.10pm and 5pm.
All DalesBus services from Ilkley are included in the £3 national cap on single fares and under 19s can travel for just £1 each way. Concessionary bus passes are valid on all services.
