Ilkley Camera Club opened its 2025 exhibition of members’ work at the Clarke Foley Community Hub on Saturday 24th May 2025.
In previous years the exhibition has been held in Keighley but this year the exhibition will be much more accessible for local people for free, and anyone visiting the Hub.
The exhibition was opened by local photographer Rich Bunce known as The Walking Photographer. Rich is an internationally exhibited photographer with prints held in both private and public collections including the Royal Photographic Society’s permanent collection.
Alison Tetley of Ilkley Camera Club thanked the organisers of the event for their hard work putting the exhibition together. In particular she thanked David Garner who took responsibility for liaising with the venue and ensuring volunteers were available to hang the images. David thanked the managers at the Clarke Foley Community Hub for being very helpful.
Rich Bunce said it was great to see such a broad range of photography at the exhibition, commenting:
"Well done for printing, it’s a very digital age so there’s something very nice about having a physical print to look at”.
124 prints are being exhibited from 23 members around the Hub. The exhibition runs for four weeks until Saturday 21st June for everyone to enjoy.
Ilkley Camera Club will start its new season in September and new members will be made welcome. Further details are available at ilkleycameraclub.co.uk
