Ilkley engineering company, Ideal Extraction Ltd, is celebrating after being announced as a Finalist in the category SME Business of the Year at the prestigious BusinessiQ Awards 2025.
Hosted by the Telegraph and Argus, these coveted awards recognise the best businesses across the whole of the Bradford district for excellence and innovation.
The award shortlist marks an exciting highlight in a very productive and successful year for Ideal Extraction which has recently taken on extra staff and additional office space at the International Development Centre in Ilkley as a result of business expansion.
The company, established in 2020 by Steve and Helen Rhodes, provides bespoke dust and fume extraction systems, primarily to the woodworking sector, and supports businesses with maintenance and testing of systems, helping clients keep on top of health & safety legislation.
Director Helen Rhodes said:
“We are absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for SME Business of the Year. The judges were looking for companies that have not only demonstrated a strong financial performance but have also made a significant impact on the economy, and we are very proud to be recognised in this category.
“It’s also a wonderful boost for our whole team who are passionate about delivering exceptional service to our clients with an impeccable attention to detail. We’re looking forward to meeting all the other finalists on the evening and celebrating business success together.”
The winners will be announced at a black-tie gala dinner on 11th July at Cedar Court Hotel in Bradford.
