Ilkley Town Council currently operates a grant scheme for community organisations to apply for up to £3,000 and the application deadlines are fast approaching.
The town council is keen to contribute financial support to projects being developed by community organisations for purposes that strengthen the community and enhance the well-being of residents and their environment, within the Ilkley parish.
Applications can be made to the Green Spaces, Environment and Sustainability Committee (deadline is 15th December 2025) and the Community Engagement and Partnerships Committee (deadline is 15th January 2026) and will be considered at committee meetings at the start of 2026.
Previous successful grant applicants include Ilkley Grammar School (to supplement funding for mental health provision), Ilkley Manor House (to help with the creation of a wildflower meadow), and Ilkley Community Transport (towards the cost of a new minibus).
If your community group would like to apply, you should consider which committee would be best suited for your project. It is always advisable to discuss your application with the Deputy Clerk at an early stage: deputyclerk@ilkleytowncouncil.gov.uk
The grant scheme criteria, guidance and a copy of the application form are all available from the Ilkley Town Council website: ilkleytowncouncil.gov.uk/the-council/grants
