Ilkley & District Round Table is inviting community groups, charities, and local organisations across the area to apply for one-off grants to support their work.
Round Table is a voluntary organisation made up of local men who give their time to raise funds and support good causes in the community. Through events such as the annual Ilkley Half Marathon, Ilkley Beer Festival and the town’s Santa Float, the group raise thousands of pounds each year, which is then distributed back into the community.
The organisation is now inviting applications for funding from groups who need financial help to make a real difference. The focus is on projects and initiatives that would not be possible without external funding – whether that’s purchasing essential equipment, improving facilities, or launching new projects that leave a lasting impact.

Chairman of Ilkley & District Round Table, Nick Marsden, said:
"We’re incredibly proud of the money raised locally and want to ensure it goes straight back into supporting the community that makes it all possible. We’re especially keen to hear from groups with projects that wouldn’t otherwise get off the ground – things that can make a real difference to people’s lives."
Organisations interested in applying for a grant can do so by visiting http://ilkleyroundtable.org.uk/apply-for-funding/, applications are reviewed regularly, and feedback is provided on all applications.

Ilkley & District Round Table has a long history of supporting local causes, from funding youth sports equipment and community defibrillators to assisting local charities, and support groups.
The groups Community Service officer Lyndon added:
"If you know of a project that needs help to happen, please get in touch.
“Our funds are raised by the community, for the community – and we want to make sure they are used where they can have the biggest impact."
