The Ilkley Great Get Together team is appealing for donations for its Easter parcels which are given out each year to eligible families in the Ilkley area.
A spokesperson said:
"It is nearly Easter and next week we are packing food parcels for families on free school meals who need support over the holidays.
"We are providing parcels for 90 families, and are hugely grateful for last minute cash donations from Ilkley Round Table and Ilkley Wharfedale Rotary Club to buy veg as we don't have any this time from supermarkets, and for the Soroptimists and Clevedon knitters for the knitted chicks.
"This Easter the foodbank has much less stock so we don't have the usual store-cupboard food for the parcels."
Items needed are:
- 90 packets of pasta
- 90 tins of tuna (2 pack)
- 90 packs of tea
- As well as more Easter eggs, biscuits and chocolates
Donations can be left at 30 Nelson Road, Ilkley, in the boxes outside, by Monday 31st March 2025.
