Ilkley Concert Club has announced its fifth series of afternoon concerts show-casing talented students from the Royal Northern College of Music [RNCM].
These one-hour concerts are full of interest and variety, open to everyone and an afternoon treat for those who prefer not to go out on dark November evenings all taking place between 2.30pm and 3.30pm at the King’s Hall on Station Road in Ilkley.
The first concert is on Thursday 6th November with pianist James Carrick-Buchanan, followed by Glen Piano Trio.
The second is on Thursday 20th November with Aaben Duo playing the saxophone and harp.
Audiences for the final concert on Thursday 27th November will enjoy Phoenix Brass Quintet and J2, guitar duo.
A spokesperson for RMCM said:
“The RNCM are extremely excited to maintain our close relationship with Ilkley Concert Club over the coming months. Performance experience such as this is invaluable to our students and helps them develop into musical stars of the future.”
Tickets are on sale costing £10 for a single concert, or £25 for the series of 3. They can be bought online at ilkleyconcertclub.eventbrite.com, from any evening concert and on the door [cash & card].
