As well as the usual Saturday morning East Holmes Field parkruns, the team in Ilkley will host two special events on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
Both will start at 9am by the skatepark, so residents are being warned that the field will be a bit busier at that time.
Hattie O'Looney, East Holmes Field parkrun Event director, told Your Ilkley Radio:
“We’d like to welcome anyone to come along, it’s a fun, friendly atmosphere, and you can run, walk, or just spectate.
“We’re also looking for a few more volunteers (very easy, full training given), so bring friends and family along!
“Hope to see lots of you over the festive period.”

If you’re new to parkrun, it’s free and open to everyone — just register once at parkrun.org.uk and bring your barcode. There will be a first-timers’ briefing both days at 8:50am.
If you have any questions, feel free to email the team at eastholmesfield@parkrun.com.
