Trustees wanted to help guide the future of Ilkley charity

If you’ve ever stepped into Clarke Foley Community Hub in Ilkley, you’ll know it’s more than just a building. It’s a place where friendships are made over cups of tea, where people find companionship, and where groups come together to learn, laugh, and share.

It’s a hive of activity that exists to improve the social, physical, and mental wellbeing of all who visit.

For many people, Clarke Foley Community Hub is a lifeline – a warm welcoming space that brings people together and helps combat loneliness and isolation.

Now, the charity is looking for new directors to join its board and help guide its future.

Directors play a vital role in making sure Clarke Foley continues to thrive, and the charity is keen to hear from people of all ages and backgrounds who want to give something back to their community.

Manager Joe Short said:

“We’re looking for people who care about Ilkley and want to use their skills to make a difference.

“You don’t have to be an expert – what matters most is passion and commitment.

“Together, we can make sure Clarke Foley keeps its doors open for everyone who needs it.”

Being a director isn’t just about supporting the hub – it’s also a chance to learn, grow, and connect with others who share a belief in the power of community.

Joe adds:

“Share your skills, knowledge, and experience to enrich your life and the lives of others.”
