Independent homeware retailer Seddon and Davison is raising a glass this August to celebrate two years since opening their Ilkley store – and sharing exciting news about their next chapter: the launch of a new store in Harrogate.
On Saturday 16 August, from 12:30pm to 5pm (while stocks last), customers are invited to Seddon and Davison’s Ilkley store at 1–3 The Grove Promenade to enjoy a complimentary glass of fizz and a chocolate treat in thanks for their support. The shop will be open as normal from 9:30am to 5:30pm.
Since opening in August 2023, Seddon and Davison has become a go-to destination for those who love relaxed modern rustic interiors with a touch of understated luxe. The business has been recognised locally too, with a shortlisting at the Ilkley Business Awards earlier this year.
Set up by wife-and-husband team Kara Seddon and Mark Davison, the store features wildlife-inspired homeware created from Mark’s original photography, with selected photographic prints from his also available in-store.
Kara says:
“We’ve loved every minute of being in Ilkley. It’s a town that truly values small businesses and supports a thriving high street. With so many brilliant community events and a real sense of local pride, Ilkley has become such a special place to be – we feel very lucky to be part of it.”

Customers can continue to earn and redeem rewards through the popular loyalty scheme, both in-store and online. All purchases made on the day by loyalty scheme members will be entered into a prize draw for a £50 voucher to spend online or in-store. Customers can sign up on the day and receive a 10% welcome discount.
Seddon and Davison will open their new largest retail space on Albert Street in Harrogate at the end of August.
