The popular autumn trail-running event, Run Bolton Abbey, is set to return on Sunday 10 November raising vital funds for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice.
Run Bolton Abbey, now in its seventh year, will see people run one of four distances across the beautiful paths, tracks and woodland trails of the estate in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales surrounded by autumn colours.
There are routes to suit all abilities, including a 10k, 10 mile or half marathon, as well as a 2.4-mile fun run for the whole family to enjoy. The races will start at 9am, and a two-minute silence will be observed at 11am for Remembrance Day at the start and finish line.
The Sue Ryder team are delighted to announce this year’s joint sponsors are Yorkshire Clinic and Midgley Motor Cars, with support from Bolton Abbey Estate who generously provide the venue, and event partners Skipton AC.
Previous events saw hundreds of participants running in support of Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice in Oxenhope, which provides expert palliative care, advice and support to people living with life-limiting conditions, as well as supporting their families.

The funds raised from this event will help us to continue to provide specialist care and grief support for local people and their families, filling their last days with love.”

Everyone who takes part in Run Bolton Abbey will benefit from chip timing to record their race time and for each runner that participates a tree will be planted in the Bolton Abbey Estate.
