Premium indoor golf studio opens in Ilkley

PGA Professional Joe Lovery has opened Ilkley Golf Studios.

A new premium indoor golf and performance facility is set to open its doors in Ilkley.

Ilkley Golf Studios, based at Unit 7 on East Parade, will hold a free Open Evening on Friday 28th August from 6pm until 9pm.

The facility has been created by PGA Professional Joe Lovery, who first announced plans for the new venture earlier this year.

Following months of work, the studios are now ready to welcome golfers for year-round practice and coaching.

Ilkley Golf Studios features two premium indoor golf studios, allowing players to practise and play some of the world's best-known courses using industry-leading golf technology.

There is also a dedicated putting studio featuring SAM PuttLab technology for detailed putting analysis and coaching.

Joe has been coaching full-time since 2019 and works with golfers ranging from complete beginners to elite amateur and professional players.

Speaking when plans for the facility were first announced, he said:

“The aim has always been to create a facility where golfers can genuinely improve, whatever the weather.

“Yorkshire golfers lose so much valuable practice time each year, and I wanted to build somewhere that offers a premium environment where people can work on every aspect of their game all year round.”

The Open Evening will give people the opportunity to look around the new facility, see how the technology works and find out more about the studios.

It is open to experienced golfers and those completely new to the sport, with drinks also available during the evening.

Announcing the event, Joe said:

“It’s been a huge project bringing this to Ilkley and I’d love to see plenty of local faces there!”
