A new Ilkley Harriers running group for adults with learning disabilities is inviting people who may be interested to give it a try with no obligation.
The group, which was started in May by Caroline Tong, has already become an established and respected part of the club and meets every Tuesday evening.
A spokesperson for the group said:
"Some members of Ilkley Harriers' newest running group enjoyed their first away day Saturday morning at Roberts park parkrun in Saltaire."
"Congratulations to Alice Hewitson and Finn Thompson for completing the run!"

"We are actively recruiting and invite people who may be interested to come and join in."
the spokesperson added
"You are welcome to give it a go with no obligation."
The group meets at 6.45pm on Tuesdays at the Ilkley Lawn Tennis & Squash Club cafe with the other Harriers groups before heading out for their run.

Members are a fun sociable bunch and started out doing laps of the park and have progressed to incorporating more routes, such as the suspension bridge loop, or along a section of the Dales Way and back.
There are several volunteers present to ensure all abilities are catered for and nobody is left behind.
