A Burley-in-Wharfedale nutritionist is celebrating five years in practice this October, after turning her own health struggles into a new career.
Beth Hughes, founder of Beth Hughes Nutrition, retrained as a nutritional therapist after being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, aged just 33, whilst caring for her two young children.
Beth explains:
“I was exhausted, in pain and worried what my future would look like. When I discovered nutritional therapy, it completely changed my health – and my life. I knew then I wanted to help others do the same.”
Since launching her practice in 2020, Beth has worked with clients across Wharfedale and beyond, helping people tackle health challenges ranging from digestive problems and fatigue to hormonal imbalances. She offers 1:1 consultations (both in-person and online), group programmes and corporate wellness services.
To mark her business milestone, Beth is running a series of anniversary offers and events this October, including a free webinar ‘Nourish & Thrive!’ on Thursday 16th October at 7.30pm
Beth added:
“Looking back to my diagnosis 15 years ago, I never imagined it would lead me here, to a fulfilling new career. Now, it’s a privilege to spend my time supporting others to feel more themselves again.”
