Organised by Ilkley and District Round Table, over the past two weeks the Ilkley Santa Float has been touring the streets of Ilkley, Ben Rhydding and Addingham bringing a smile to faces young and old.
A spokesperson for Ilkley and District Round Table said:
"We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire community for their incredible generosity and festive spirit during this year’s Santa Float. Thanks to your support, we raised an amazing £2,472.29 for local charities!
"From Addingham to Ilkley Town Centre, Valley Drive, Ben Rhydding, and Dale View, it was a joy to see so many families come out to wave to Santa, share the Christmas spirit, and donate to a fantastic cause. Your kindness makes a real difference to those in need during this festive season."
There is still time to donate if you missed the Santa Float but would still like to contribute.
Donations can still be made by texting:
ILKLEYSANTA 5 to 70085 to donate £5
ILKLEYSANTA 10 to 70085 to donate £10
ILKLEYSANTA 20 to 70085 to donate £20
Every penny goes directly to supporting local charities and community initiatives.
The spokesperson added:
"Santa's resting ahead of the big day, but he can’t wait to see you all again next year for another magical Santa Float!
"Thank you for helping us spread joy, create smiles, and make Christmas truly magical.
"From all of us at Ilkley Round Table, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!"
