The early-morning Breakfast Rave is set to return to Ilkley next month following the success of the town’s first event.
The Ticket Office will host the fundraising event on Friday, September 18th, bringing together live DJs, percussion, coffee and breakfast for a morning of classic house music.
More than 150 people attended the first Breakfast Rave in June, which raised almost £2,000 for charity and even featured on BBC Look North.
The September event will once again feature local and London-based DJs, alongside live percussionists from the area.
This time, the event is raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support, while also supporting local mountaineer Shaunna Burke and her Dying To Climb project.
Ms Burke previously conquered Mount Everest while living with Stage 4 cancer and is now preparing to climb the remaining 13 mountains over 8,000 metres as part of her ‘14 in 4’ challenge.
During the Breakfast Rave, she will be taking on summit number two, Manaslu in Nepal, the world’s eighth-highest mountain at 8,163 metres.
Unlike the first event, September’s Breakfast Rave will be ticketed, with £10 tickets including a coffee and bacon sandwich.
The breakfast is being subsidised by La Stazione and The Ticket Office, with all profits from the event going to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Tickets are now on sale and are available via Luma.
