Local author, Alan Reynolds, will be at The Grove Bookshop in Ilkley on Thursday 20th June at 7pm, talking about his latest novel ‘Uncertain Times’.
The book is the fourth in the Marsden Family drama, following a baker from Keighley, taking the story from the First World War to the start of the Second.
The author will be discussing some of the research he carried out in completing the novel and making comparisons between the build up of the two conflicts, and answering questions on anything writing related. It promises to be an informative evening and especially relevant to anyone interested in the social history of the period.
Tickets are £5, to reserve a seat, please contact The Grove Book Shop. 01943 609335.
