As part of the vibrant celebrations for Bradford City of Culture 2025, the Clarke Foley Community Hub in Ilkley is proud to host a free live performance by Oxford-based street band ‘Horns of Plenty’ on Friday 26th September.
The event marks Ilkley’s participation in “HONK! Bradford,” a district-wide music festival that will transform Bradford into a dynamic hub of acoustic street music.
“HONK! Bradford” brings together 15 street bands from the UK, Spain, Germany, France, and the United States, performing in parks, high streets, community centres, and city spaces. The festival celebrates cultural diversity and musical fusion, with genres ranging from bhangra to Balkan, jazz to hip hop.
The Clarke Foley Community Hub is one of the chosen venues across the district to be involved in the “Let The Music Loose” festivities and will welcome the ‘Horns of Plenty’ band, a lively ensemble of up to 30 musicians featuring brass, saxophones, clarinets, and percussion.
Known for their infectious energy and global street sound, the band will perform from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, with a twenty-minute interval. The bar will be open from 6:30pm, and all are warmly invited to attend.
