An art vending machine is coming to Ilkley offering original mini artworks for just 50p each, while raising vital funds for local homelessness support.
The vending machine will be stocked with small, paper-based artworks created by the community. Every coin placed into the machine will be donated directly to Simon on the Streets, a charity supporting homeless and vulnerable people across Leeds and Bradford.
The project invites everyone who enjoys making art to take part. You don’t need to be a “real” artist to contribute (though real artists are very welcome too!). Contributors are encouraged to submit flat, paper-based artworks measuring no more than 10cm x 7cm, which will be packaged and sold through the machine.
Artwork submissions can be dropped off at the Community Cutlery shop on 31 Leeds Road, Ilkley, or contributors can get in touch with Village Pavilion via their social media channels to request a postal address for hand delivery or submissions from further afield.
The vending machine will appear at locations around Ilkley soon, with updates shared as it begins its journey.

Fancy making art for the machine, whilst enjoying a chat? Village Pavilion is hosting an 'Make Art' evening at Bini Brew Taproom on Wednesday 28th January, 7:00pm - 9:30pm. Paper provided, and limited art supplies, feel free to bring your own. Free Entry, everyone is welcome.
This project is proudly funded by Creative Lives // Bradford 2025.
